Everything started with myself (Doris) doing photography strictly part-time. Luis would tag along as my assistant, but as the years passed, videography caught his attention. From then on, we decided to offer videography as a service. After a few years, in April 2021, I decided to go full-time as a photographer, which meant I had more time to focus on my business. I quickly realized I was in desperate need of a rebrand, and with this major step, we felt it was time to be the face of the business together as a husband and wife team.

We both had the perfect person in mind to help us with this big project, Katie from Ribbon & Ink. I had been stalking her work for a while and knew she would help achieve the vision we had. We envisioned a brand that was bright, romantic, timeless, chic, which was a good representation of who we are today. The whole journey of the rebrand has been very insightful and fun. Katie has sat down and guided us to translate into words what was in our hearts for our business. Together, we brought into vision exactly what we asked for for the image of our business.

Luis and I also did a branding session with the amazing Jenna Shriver to have professional pictures for our business. We are so used to being behind the camera that we were nervous about being on the other end. Planning it out with both Katie and Jenna was so much fun that we didn’t want it to end! We also did a Stock session with Jenna and Marcie, photographing pieces representing us, family, our couples, and Ponce Photo & Films. As a photographer that loves capturing details on a wedding day, I was in heaven getting objects and pictures for the session. It was one of my favorite moments during this rebranding journey.

Luis and I feel beyond blessed and grateful to have had such a wonderful team helping us with the rebrand. It’s such an important step in our lives, and we are so excited to finally share what we have been working on for months.
